 Natural History Museum

Then we a house of the Natural History Museum in Chandigarh. It exhibits natural history of animals, plants, humans, ecosystems, geology, paleontology, and climatology.

International Dolls Museum

The International Dolls Museum at Chandigarh is an excellent exhibition of ethnic dolls from every Indian state, highlighting the integration of Indian folk cultures. Along with that, 250 dolls from countries like Russia, Denmark, Netherlands, Germany, Spain and Korea decorate this museum which is a treat to the eyes. Le Corbusier Centre

This museum in Chandigarh has architectural mentions of contributions made by Le Corbusier while making Chandigarh. Formerly, Le Corbusier’s office building where he devised the master plan of Chandigarh, this museum hosts works of painting and art, sculptures, furniture used by Le Corbusier and his enthralling literary works. It contains all proposals that were made, accepted and denied for the city. The Le Corbusier Center at Chandigarh is a must visit.

High Court Museum

The High Court Museum is loacated in Sector 1. The exact location of this museum in Chandigarh is at the capitol complex. Historical records maintained like Bhagat Singh’s trial at Lahore, arrest of Dr. Kitchlew, creation of post Chief Justice, arrest of Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru are some things that are of much interest. More significant physical records include Nathu Ram Godse’s handcuffs (Mahatma Gandhi’s assassin)  and a copy of original Constitution of India signed by Constituent Committee. It offers a pool of historical knowledge.

Rag Dolls Museum

Rag Dolls Museum is one of the latest addition to the list of Museums in Chandigarh. It has been created at Phase 3 of Rock Garden to pay respect to Sh. Nek Chand. The Rag Dolls Museum was a dream that Nek Chand wanted to see. This Chandigarh museum that was inaugurated on the second death anniversary of Nek Chand, showcases a number of rag dolls made by the artist himself. There are over 200 different rag dolls. Apart from dolls, visitors to Rag Dolls Museum Chandigarh will also get a glimpse of village life that includes – bullock carts, wells and other rural features.
