NEET 2017 – Counselling Round 1 Results Released | Check Out

Finally, the wait of medical students is over, NEET 2017 first round allotment result is out. NEET 2017-Provisional seat allotment round 1 result is declared on official portal. Candidates can check National Eligibility and Entrance Test (NEET) 2017 counseling round 1 result on official website mcc.nic.in.

CBSE, New Delhi conducted UG NEET 2017 on May 7th. Around eleven lakh medical aspirants for MBBS or BDS across India had appeared in the exam and 6 lakh aspirants cleared the exam for admission in the undergraduate degree in MBBS and BDS courses. This year cut off marks for general candidates was 131.

Candidates of NEET 2017 had to lock their options by July 12. The registration process for NEET allotment of MBBA and BDS seats at various medical education institutes in India began on July 3 and ended on July 11. Now the result for counseling round 1 is out.

Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) has released National Eligibility and Entrance Test (NEET) 2017 counseling round 1 result on July 15, 2017. Students can check NEET 2017-All India counseling quota result on mcc.nic.in. The online counseling is done on the basis of National Eligibility and Entrance Test (NEET) 2017 result of candidates. All India counseling is being conducted for 15% reserved seats.  Students allotted seats in first counseling are required to complete admission formalities by July 22, 2017.

Candidates who have not been allotted seats in round one are eligible for round two of the NEET 2017 allotment process.  Even candidates who have been allotted seats in round one but shows the willingness to participate in round 2 are eligible to be part of Round 2 allotment of NEET 2017. Registration for round 2 will be open by August 1. Candidates can fill and lock their seats for Round 2 by August 4, 2017.

Steps to check Counseling Result NEET 2017

  • Log on to Medical Counseling Committee official website mcc.nic.in
  • Click on link flashing “UG Medical Counseling”
  • Click on the All India Quota Counselling tab
  • Click on Round 1 result
  • Enter your details – Roll Number
  • Click on Submit
  • Allotment Result will be displayed
  • Download your result
  • Take out a print out for future reference.

Admission process for medical students for MBBS and BDS courses will begin on July 16, 2017. Candidates who get seat allotted in round 1 need to get their documents verified and other proceedings completed before July 22, 2017 to secure their seats.  Candidates are required to report to allotted colleges by 5 pm on July 22. Classes for MBBS and BDS courses at various medical colleges will commence from August 4, 2017.
