NEET 2018 online application process is available till March 9, 2018 on official CBSE website for the test at cbseneet.nic.in online. Candidates who are all set to apply for foreign medical institutions to pursue their MBBS degrees abroad compulsorily have to take the NEET 2018 exam. Also, those students who aim to pursue veterinary courses in India also have to appear for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Exam for the same.

NEET 2018 Mandatory To Apply For Foreign Universities & Medical Courses Abroad 

In order to amend the screening test criteria for gaining admission into foreign Universities, Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has finally approved the proposal of Medical Council of India (MCI) for making NEET exam mandatory for students. Students prior to the amendment to the norm pursued their medical degrees MBBS and BDS from foreign institutions and come back to India to practise after clearing the FMGE test.

Even the medical colleges abroad used to grant admissions to such aspirants without proper screening exams conducted directly which affected the quality of graduates later on. Now according to the latest and updated norms, any student seeking admission into medical courses in foreign institutions primarily have to ensure their eligibility by conforming to screening norms, qualifying NEET 2018 exam which is one of the criteria.

Therefore, the productivity and quality of doctors shall improve and ensure the ones with the right aptitude towards medical courses inclination gets the medical seats in a rightfully deserved manner. As far as statistics are concerned, more than 7000 students per year go abroad especially China & Russia to pursue medical courses.

Applying For Veterinary Courses in India ? NEET 2018 Compulsory Too

Not only for foreign institutions, but making NEET 2018 as a mandatory basic screening test has been made compulsory for aspirants seeking admissions into veterinary courses in India as well. Candidates who wish to gain ‘Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (BV Sc & AH)’ as per the recent notification, they too shall have to qualify NEET exam.

In a recent update pertaining to the 2018-19 academic session, National Eligibility cum Entrance Exam has been mandatory for these courses as well. Like MCI, VCI (Veterinary Council of India) too made NEET 2018 mandatory for students seeking medical seats under All India 15% quota.

Similar to that of MBBS seat allotment criteria according to AIQ 15% via CBSE NEET (UG) 2018 exam, the veterinary courses seats shall also be allotted in the same fashion. So, buck up all those NEET 2018 aspirants, the online application forms are available only till March 9th.
