NEET 2018 Update | Debarred Open School Students Might Be Able To Take NEET in May 2018

CBSE NEET (UG) 2018 official notification is available on its official online portal citing details about the test. Central Board of Secondary Education which is the conducting body of various entrance examinations annually has published information regarding NEET 2018 online. Some students have been debarred from taking the prestigious NEET exam this year in May 2018 as per the latest release. This revised & modified eligibility norm by CBSE for aspirants of NEET 2018 has certainly caused havoc in the minds of many due to its sudden move.

With health ministry now jumping in to ask Medical Council of India (MCI) to reconsider its decision on the same issue, NEET 2018 aspirants who were initially debarred have now a ray of hope to look upto while the council is yet to release an official notification pertaining the same online.

Releasing admission notice & a separate information brochure for NEET 2018 aspirants to check, the same in pdf formats are uploaded online. NEET 2018 notification is available in both the languages for download in Hindi as well as in English. Aspirants of NEET 2018 exam scheduled on May 6, 2018 i.e. on Sunday are requested to check details about the qualifying exam here.

The education board of NEET 2018 shares its marks relaxation criteria fixed for students. NEET 2018 | Debarred Candidates Might Be Able To Appear For Exam in May This Year

More than 2000 candidates take the Class 12th exams from open school board called NIOS students. Marks obtained in PCB criteria in Class 12th exams serves as the qualifying test for the NEET 2018 exam. The candidates who complete their qualifying examination from an open board can not take the prestigious medical entrance exam as NEET 2018 in May this year. Also, candidates who opt for Biology /Bio-technology subjects as additional subjects are not allowed to appear for NEET exam.

With the latest official release on NEET 2018 by CBSE, the education board debarred thousands of candidates aspiring to take the test. The Health Ministry has asked justification of this drastic change and asked the MCI to reconsider its decision to allow such debarred candidates from taking NEET exam on May 6, 2018 this year.
