NEET 2018 | New Cities & Exam Centres Added For This Years Exam – Report

This is the first time that the NEET exam will be conducted in 150 cities and last year the exam was conducted in 107 cities

For the NEET 2018 exam, the government has increased the number of centres for the exam. This time the NEET 2018 exam will be conducted in 43 more cities. Now the exam centres for the NEET 2018 exam has increased to 150 from 107 centres. Union HRD minister Prakash Javadekar said that the increase in exam centres for the NEET exam 2018 will make it easier for all students who are appearing in the NEET exam 2018 to reach the venues.

Union HRD minister Prakash Javadekar also tweeted about this saying that 43 new centres granted for the NEET 2018 exam. This is the first time that the NEET exam will be conducted in 150 cities and last year the exam was conducted in 107 cities.

NEET 2018 Exam – New Cities & Exam Centres

This time the NEET exam 2018 will be held in 150 cities. New 43 cities have been added to the centres for the exam.  Last year it was 107 cities as the exam centre. The new exam centres for the NEET exam have been set up in Andhra Pradesh(5 new centres), Assam (2 new exam centres), Maharshtra (6 new centres), Gujrat (3 new exam centres), Odisha (4 new exam centres), Tamil Nadu (2 new centres), Kerala (5 new centres), Telangana (2 new centres), Uttar Pradesh (3 new exam centres)m West Bengal (3 new exam centres), And in Chattisgarh, Himachal Pradesh, Jharkhand, J&K, Rajasthan, Punjab, Uttrakhand and Karnatka there is 1 new exam centre each.

In Andhra Pradesh, the new 5 exam centres for the NEET 2018 exam added are – Kakinada, Kurnool, Nellore, Rajahmundry, Vizianagaram. In Assam – Silchar and Tezpur are added to the new exam centres. In Chattisgarh – Bilaspur has been added to the new exam centre for the NEET 2018 exam. In Gujrat – Godra, Patan, Valsad has been added to the new exam centre. In Himachal Pradesh – Dharamsala has been added. In J&K, Udhampur has been added. In Jharkhand, Jamshedpur has been added to the new exam centre.

In Maharastra – Beed, Buldhana, Jalgaon, Latur, Mumbai-Suburban, Solapur has been added to the new exam centres for the NEET 2018 exam. In Orissa – Angul, Balasore, Cuttack, Sambalpur has been added to the new exam centres. Bikaner is added in Rajasthan as new exam centre for the NEET exam. In Tamil Nadu – Kanchipuram, Thiruvallur has been added to the new exam centre. In Punjab, Amritsar has been added to the new exam centre. In Karnataka – Dharwad is the new exam centre.

In Kerala – Alappuzha, Kollam, Kottayam, Malappuram, Palakkad has been added to the new exam centre. In Telangana – Khammam, Ranga Reddy has been added. In Uttrakhand, Roorkee is added as new exam centre for NEET 2018. Allahabad, Kanpur, Meerut has been added to the new exam centre and in West Bengal – Burdwan, Hoogli, North 24-Pargana has been added to the new exam centres.

This year the NEET exam will be held on May 6. The online application process for the NEET 2018 exam began on 8th of February and the last date to apply for the NEET 2018 exam is 9 March.
