NEET 2018 Exam: NEET exam or National Eligibility Entrance Exam is conducted by the CBSE every year. NEET Exam is held for admission in the MBBS and BDS courses. The exam is conducted in al over India. This year the exam will be conducted in the month of May i.e on May 5. About NEET 2018 Exam
The NEET exam has three section which includes questions from Chemistry, Physics, and Biology. The duration of the NEET exam is 3 hours. There are total 180 questions in the NEET Exam. Out of 180 questions, 90 questions are from the Biology subject, 45 questions from the Physics and 45 from chemistry subject. Each correct answer will give you 4 marks and each wrong question will deduct a mark (negative marking).
The syllabus of the NEET 2018 exam includes class 11 and 12th class NCERT books as per the subjects. If you don’t know the answer don’t attempt it otherwise it will cost you a mark. 1 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer. First of all and the best part of the preparation for the NEET exam is to solve the previous year questions paper. Not more but at least solve 3-4 years questions paper of the NEET exam. This will build your confidence and will make you clear on what topics you will have to concentrate. This will also give you a good understanding of the exam.
Make A Study Strategy
After solving previous year question paper of NEET exam, you will be able to know how much time you take to solve a paper. And in what time you solve the paper. If you take more than 3 hours to solve the paper, try to find out on which question or section you take much time. Make sure you should know all the basics of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. After solving one question paper try to solve the second one and this time solve those questions first which takes less time and solve the heavy question in last.
NEET Exam Section Tips
Make this clear that 50% of the NEET exam will be in Biology Subject. Out of 180 questions, 90 questions will be from Biology section. So try to solve those questions faster. If you don’t know the answer leave the question and move t the next question. Thermodynamics and Atomic structure are the important sections. Try to solve out numerical based questions, this will also tell you how much time you need to solve a numerical. Revise all formulae and equations. get into the details from the NCERT books, A lot of direct questions can be expected in the exam which will be based on theory.
One more thing Time is very Important and you will only get 180 minutes to solve 180 questions which means 1 minute for 1 question. So make sure you will attempt the easy one first in the exam.
