NEET 2019: 15 Lakh + Students to Appear for Exam & English be Most Preferred Language Over Assamese

NEET 2019: National Testing Agency has ended with the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test registration process for May 2019. As per reports around 15 Lakh + candidates have registered themselves for the NEET exam scheduled for May 2019. After the closing of the registration process, it has been out that candidates preferred the English language over Assamese for NEET 2019.

National Testing Agency for the very first time will be holding the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for the year 2019. Whereas earlier the conducting body for the NEET Exam was CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education). Check out more details regarding the new changes held by NTA for the NEET Exam 2019 below.

NEET 2019: 15 Lakh + candidates to appear for May Exam

National Testing Agency closes the registration process NEET exam 2019 on 7th December 2018 as per the official website. Now the report says that almost 15.19 lakh candidates have registered themselves for the NEET Exam to be held in May 2019. According to the NTA schedule for the year 2019, National Eligibility cum Entrance Test will be carried out on 5th May 2019.

According to 2018 report, almost 13 Lakh candidates appeared for the NEET exam last year. In comparison with the last year’s graph, 2 Lakh more candidates have registered themselves for the NEET 2019. Also, it has been notified by the High court that even candidates above 25 years can also appear for NEET 2019. So by the end of the registration process, the graph of the number of registered candidates have reached the bar above 15 lakh for the year 2019.

Candidates Prefer English Language Over Assamese for NEET Exam 2019

As far as preference for the language is concerned to write in NEET 2019, then English has surpassed Assamese in the state. Although the conducting body was all set to hold the exam in Assamese as well, most of the candidates in the state have preferred English language to write in NEET 2019. Almost 90% of the students of Assam has opted to write NEET exam 2019 in English language.

According to NTA, NEET exam 2019 will be as similar as to the previous year exam. No changes in the exam pattern have been implemented by the conducting body for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for the year 2019. Although the NEET exam for the year has been scheduled on 5ht May 2019.
