NEET UG 2019 Exam | Check Examination Pattern & Other Important Details

NEET UG 2019 Exam: National Testing Agency released the official notification last month for the National Eligibility cum Entrance test. The procedure of filling the application form was started this month on 1st November 2018. Now more than half of the time has passed and only a few days have left to fill the application form.

So, candidates who haven’t filled the application form for the NEET exam are advised that they should fill the same on the official website. The application process will close on 30th November 2018. Below are the details regarding the examination pattern for the NEET Exam 2019.

NEET UG 2019 Exam – Pattern of Examination & Other Details

The NEET (National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test) Exam will have total 180 questions. These questions in the questions paper will from Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (Botany and Zoology) subjects. The examination timing is 2 pm to 5 pm. From the physics section, there will be total 45 questions of 180 marks. Each question will be of 4 marks.

In the Chemistry section there will be 45 questions of 180 marks. In the biology section, there will be total 90 questions of 360 marks. For every right answer candidates will be awarded with 4 marks and for the wrong answer, 1 mark will be deducted as negative marking. As per the official notification, the exam will be conducted in English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Marathi, Odia, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu.

Candidates are advised to select the medium of examination carefully at the time of filling the application form. This medium can’t be changed later. All those candidates who opted for English will get the test booklet of NEET UG Exam in English. Candidates who opted other languages will get the test booklet in that language and English too (Bilingual test Booklet).

NEET Exam 2019 Important Details

As said above that the last date to fill the application form is 30th November 2018 and after that candidates can’t apply for the same. The application fee can be paid till 1st December 2018. The application fee is Rs 1400 for General and OBC while Rs 750 for other category candidates. The correction in the application form will begin from 14th January 2019 and ends on 31st January 2019. The exam date for NEET 2019 exam is 5th may 2019 while the result will be declared by 5th June 2019.
