The limited edition Kawasaki Z900 has been launched in India. According to a report, India Kawasaki Motors recently announced the launch of its new, limited-edition version of the Kawasaki Z900. The limited edition Kawasaki Z900 has been launched in a black colour to add a different appearance to the bike, though the technicals, as well as the prices of the limited edition Kawasaki Z900, remain unchanged.
Limited edition Kawasaki Z900 launched in India
It was reported that the Kawasaki Z900 replaced the then existing Z800 and was launched in India with two colours. The limited edition Kawasaki Z900 has been launched by Kawasaki India with few cosmetic changes. According to the report, the limited edition version of the Kawasaki Z900 has been launched in a metallic spark black colour though it will also be available in existing colour combination. The Kawasaki Z900 limited edition version will also get subtle updates in terms of graphics.
Mechanical changes in the limited edition Kawasaki Z900
It has been reported that the limited edition Kawasaki Z900 will not get any changes in the technical specifications. There will not be any pricing changes as well for this limited edition variant of the Kawasaki Z900. In terms of the engine, the Kawasaki Z900 limited edition will retain the buttery-smooth, 948cc petrol engine. The limited edition Kawasaki Z900 gets its inline-four cylinder engine from the Kawasaki Z1000. The powerful engine develops 125 PS of power at 9,500 rpm and 98.6 Nm of torque at 7,500 rpm. The unit of the limited edition Kawasaki Z900 comes mated to a 6-speed transmission.
The Suspension components of the Kawasaki Z900 limited edition include 41 mm adjustable upside-down fork at the front while the rear end gets an adjustable back-link monoshock. The braking system includes a dual 300 mm petal discs at the front while the rear tyre gets a single 250 mm petal disc for better braking control on the road.

The move to launch the limited edition variant of the Kawasaki Z900 is targeted to attract passionate bike lover who had waited for a long time for this colour. The company has stated in one of the reports that this new colour in the limited edition is a move an answer to the requirements of their customers. It also mentions that meeting customer’s requirements is Kawasaki’s priorities.
The limited edition Kawasaki Z900 will also rival against the likes of the Triumph Street Triple S in the Indian market
In addition to the metallic spark black colour, the limited edition Kawasaki Z900 also gets eye-catching graphical changes that adds to the appearance of the Kawasaki Z900 limited edition.
