Mahindra XUV 500 is one of the most popular cars in India for the sheer bang for the buck it offers. The SUV was spied outside a dealership last week and gave off the design and styling of the new car. While some media houses thought the design was more mature than before, some failed to see the difference in a positive manner. What remained unanimous though was the report that Mahindra XUV 500 will be launched in the second half of 2018.
However, that might be changed though since some major news websites have been claiming for an April launch for the highly awaited Mahindra XUV 500 facelift.
Mahindra XUV 500 Facelift To Come With Better Features
Mahindra XUV 500 was always spot on with the feature list, however, that is expected to improve further with the new facelift coming April. Starting things off with the exteriors, the changes to the front are minimalistic but the LED light on top of the headlamp still stands out. It is the ear which has a drastic change in looks with a more modern and up-market tail lamp assembly on the Mahindra XUV 500.
Rumors suggest that we might be able to see Diamond Cut Alloy Wheels on the Mahindra XUV 500 this time around but this nifty feature might not make its way to the lower spec variants. Making the interiors much plusher will be better quality leather on the inside which will also make its way to the door handles. We expect Apple Carplay to make it to the list like Android Auto which was available before on the Mahindra XUV 500.
Mahindra XUV 500 Price in India and Launch Date
Mahindra XUV 500 has always been a value for money car and we expect that to remain the same this time around too. Expect a marginal increase in prices by 15,000-20,000 over the outgoing model. This will keep the competition between the new facelift and Tata Hexa intact. Coming to the launch we are inclined towards believing that the Mahindra XUV 500 is launching by the end of April or starting of May like several other major media houses. The car will however no longer serve as a flagship car to Mahindra as the Rexton is due to launch this festive season with a Mahindra Badge.
