New Maruti Suzuki Swift In A Never Before Avatar | Auto Salon GSX-1000 Theme

Maruti Suzuki Swift is probably the most popular car the company has ever sold in a market like India and it has been pretty successful at beating its competition. The all new 2018 facelift has been in the pipeline for a long time and is going to be launched in a couple of weeks in India. However, Suzuki is reportedly going to showcase the Maruti Swift in an all new avatar which is developed as in inspiration from the company’s GSX-1000 superbike.

Features of the Suzuki Swift Auto Salon

The Suzuki Swift Auto Salon is a matte black version of the Maruti counterpart that is slated to release in India in the next couple of weeks. The car gets a new red headlamp cluster and a grille with satin grey finish. The designers drew inspiration from the Suzuki GSX-1000 which is the company’s popular superbike. Taking things a notch higher than the Swift Sport, the Auto Salon variant gets black alloy wheels which are beefier than the regular version.

The decals on the side profile along with red accents continue the sporty theme of the car all along. There are little to no details on the mechanicals of the car but it is anticipated that Suzuki will continue to offer the same engine options in the Swift Sport sold globally. It might get a 1.4-litre boosterjet petrol engine that is pretty intense on the performance front with 138BHP and 230Nm of torque. Maruti might bring the Suzuki Sport to India along with the regular model.

Maruti Suzuki Swift Launches In India In A Couple Of Weeks

The famous Suzuki Swift will come to India by the third week of January and replace the previous generation model. The new car has been on sale globally for a while and the company might be looking to launch the Sport and Hybrid models simultaneously.

The Maruti Swift when enters India will compete with the likes of Hyundai i10 Grand and Volkswagen Polo. The Swift is anticipated to be priced very competitively between 4.99 to 7.89 Lakhs which has been the norm with all Maruti Suzuki cars in India.
