All-New Maruti Suzuki Swift to Offer 28 and 32 Km/L Mileage | Know More Attractive Features

The launch of the much awaited Maruti Suzuki Swift is around the corner. The largest car manufacturer in India, Maruti Suzuki India ltd., is all set to launch the most awaited next-generation Swift in the country. It has been reported the automaker will unveil the hatchback at the upcoming Auto Expo 2018 in Delhi.

It has been reported that the car maker is also planning to unveil the next generation Swift in India by next month. Since the new Swift is already available in the international market, the India-spec model is expected to offer more mileage than the current model.

New Maruti Suzuki Swift to offer 28 and 32 KmpL mileage

The new Maruti Suzuki Swift made its first global appearance at the 2017 Geneva International Motor Show. Since then, the hatchback from the Indo-Japanese carmaker had been one of the most anticipated cars in the county.

The next-generation Swift is already being offered in the international market and it gets various engine options including a 1.0-litre BoosterJet engine, a 1.2-litre DualJet engine and a 1.3-litre Diesel engine. As per the report, the 1.3-litre Diesel engine might get the SHVS mild-hybrid offering, aimed at providing high fuel economy.

The tuned engines of the new Maruti Suzuki Swift are expected to offer more mileage than the current model. If reports are to be believed, the new Swift is claimed to offer a mileage of 28 Kmpl while the mild-hybrid Swift variant is expected to offer 32 Kmpl mileage.

Price, Design, looks and competition of the new Maruti Suzuki Swift

The all-new, next generation Maruti Suzuki Swift is likely to be launched by the automaker at a competitive price range of Rs 4.78 Lakh – Rs 8 Lakh in the Indian market.

While on the outside, the new Swift gets an all-new redesigned front facet including the headlamps that come equipped with LED daytime running lights (DRLs). The hatchback gets new bumper and grille design. While most of the side profile remains almost similar, the redesigned alloy wheels add to the looks. On the rear the new Swift also gets led tail lamps and a redesigned bumper.

In the price bracket of Rs. 4.80lakh – Rs. 8 lakh, the all-new Maruti Suzuki Swift will directly compete against Hyundai Grand i10, Nissan Micra and the newly launched Tata Tigor.
