As per reports, Mitsubishi’s new Outlander will soon be launched in India. SUVs are gradually overshadowing the auto market with more and more people getting inclined towards the bigger cars. Betting on the fact that SUVs are taking India by storm, Mitsubishi too is going to launch the new Mitsubishi Outlander in India soon.
Mitsubishi Outlander to make way to India soon
Mitsubishi has already listed the new Outlander up on the Mitsubishi India website. This is not all, Mitsubishi India has also listed out the specification and features of the upcoming Mitsubishi Outlander model. It was reported, that the Mitsubishi Outlander which is going to be launched in India will be the third generation model of the SUV. The Mitsubishi Outlander will get cosmetic changes that will surely update the appearance of the vehicle. The new Outlander also gets attractive updates inside the cabin as well.
Features and specifications of the new Outlander
According to the company, the new Outlander is going to be better than the outgoing model. The new Outlander gets sharper looks with its angular elements and sleek-looking headlamps. There are reports that the new Outlander might get full LED headlamps.
The cabin of the new Outlander is expected to get a new look with premium leather upholstery. It will get a Rockford Fosgate sound system besides numerous security features such as seven airbags along with ABS (anti-lock brakes) and EBD (electronic brake-force distribution). These security features are a part of the standard fitment. The new Outlander also gets rain sensing wipers, a sunroof and two-zone climate control as well.
It is not official yet but the Outlander is expected to have either a 2.4-litre engine or a 2.0-litre engine which will churn around 180 bhp and 150 bhp respectively. The engine will come with a CVT unit and will have four wheel drive as a standard fitment.
The Mitsubishi Outlander will compete against the likes of the Hyundai Tucson, Hyundai Creta, and the recently launched Jeep Compass.
Price of the new The Mitsubishi Outlander
Though Mitsubishi India has already put up the features and specifications of the new Mitsubishi Outlander on the website, the company has not yet revealed the price of the new Outlander which will soon be launched in India. Though there is no official statement about the price and concrete launch date the price of the new Mitsubishi Outlander is expected to be between Rs. 18 lakh and Rs. 24 lakh.
