Next Gen Audi Q5 India to Launch in 2018 | Here’s The First Look, Features & Price

Recently, the next generation Audi Q5 was spotted in India which is due to launch in the year 2018. The upcoming SUV next-gen Audi Q5 was brought to the Indian land for the test it with the various weather conditions on the international roads. This is not the first time when Audi has come up its vehicle in India for the testing. India is actually one of the testing hubs for many SUVs and other luxury cars manufactured across the world.

Features of Audi Q5 as per first look in India

As per its first look, the next generation Audi Q5 is a luxury car which is somewhat similar to the SUV model from the exterior. The Audi Q5 is expected to come up with an MLB platform for weight reduction on the vehicle that will make the upcoming SUV lighter by 100 kgs varying from variant to variant.

Apart from this Audi Q5 will feature six-cylinder petrol engines and four-cylinder diesel engines along with automatic and manual gearbox. The engines of Audi Q5 are identical to its predecessor Audi A4 that comes with two drive systems, AWD and FWD and it is hinted that the company will soon launch the Audi Q5 with the variant constituting twin-turbo V6 petrol engine of over 500hp and Quattro system.

Going by the exterior of the Audi Q5, the SUV comes with very strong and sturdy body that looks stylish as well as classy at the same time. The Audi Q5 features Audi Virtual Cockpit system and MMI system along with prominent front grille and angular headlamps and from the existing larger Q7. The SUV also sports the lights with the LED lights for the daytime. The price of the upcoming Audi Q5 is not out yet but the experts from the industry are expecting it to cost Rs 40 lakh (approx) onwards.

The next generation SUV, Audi Q5 is speculated to launch next year in India that is in 2018. However, all the car lovers and four wheeler enthusiasts are eagerly waiting for this beast to hit the Indian road at the earliest.
