Death Sentence verdict for Nirbhaya case convicts
One cannot be undone what has been done, but at least a deterrent needed to be served in plate for those to consume who happen to disrupt the societal peace and harmony. The brutal gang-rape followed by the murder of the 23-year old medical student in National Capital Delhi in 2012 had caused “doppler’s effect” of waves that engulfed the entire nation by taking things in its stride to demand Justice for Nirbhaya or “The fearless” as they called her. Yes, justice has been imparted.
The big question that arises now after justice to ‘delhi gang rape case of Nirbhaya in 2012’ is, do we need to fight for justice like this everytime a Nirbhaya dies of brutality of society? Or can we curb it beforehand? What is most essential, justice after brutality or curb the crime?
