Nissan India has launched a new ‘Fashion Variant’ in India. Nissan Micra’s ‘Fashion Variant’ has been launched ahead of the festive season and this ‘Fashion Variant’ of the Nissan Micra gets attractive cosmetic changes that are poised to boost the sales of the newly launched Nissan Fashion. According to reports, the newly launched ‘Fashion Variant’ of Nissan Micra doesn’t get any mechanicals changes in the variant.
Nissan Micra Fashion Edition launched

The Fashion Edition of the Nissan Micra will continue with the same petrol and diesel engines. The petrol variant of the Nissan Micra Fashion Edition will be powered by 1.2 litre petrol engine whereas the diesel variant gets the 1.5 litre diesel engine option. The new Fashion Edition of the Nissan Micra gets refreshing cosmetic updates and is targeted to increase the sale figures during the festive season.
Changes in the Nissan Micra Fashion Edition
The Nissan Micra Fashion Limited Edition that was recently launched in India, is based on the Nissan Micra’s XL CVT variant. The limited edition Nissan Micra Fashion features various cosmetic changes.
The Limited Edition Nissan Micra Fashion includes striking features such as new body decals on the side and the roofs, new designer floor mats, black door mirrors with designer stripes. Inside the cabin, the Nissan Micra Fashion gets seats with orange stitching and Benetton-signature headrest covers.
The Nissan Micra limited edition will be powered by the same 1.2 litre petrol engine and 1.5 litre diesel engine. The petrol engine makes 73 bhp and 104 Nm of torque whereas the diesel variant of the Nissan Micra Fashion edition churns out 63 bhp and 160 Nm of peak torque. The Nissan Micra gets either a five-speed manual transmission or an optional CVT X-Tronic automatic transmission on the petrol models.
According to reports, the engine of the Nissan Micra is mated five-speed manual transmission and option of automatic transmission -CVT X-Tronic is also avaible on the petrol models.
Nissan Micra Special Edition to boost Nissan India’s sales
With the launch of the special edition – Nissan Micra Fashion Edition, Nissan India hopes that the special edition of the Micra will help ramp up some sales volumes in the festive season for the Nissan Micra.
Nissan’s Micra has been one of the most successful models for Nissan India. According to the company, it sold over 80,000 Micra cars in India, besides exporting a total of over 70,000 cars in the last fiscal.
The first 500 customers of the special edition of the Micra – Fashion, will be given special hampers with the car. The hamper comprises exclusive personal accessories from United Colours of Benetton. The hamper includes belts, wallets etc that will be given to the first 500 customers. Customers will also be given a three-year free service package which can be extended to 5-years warranty package by the owners.
