The ex-Bigg Boss fame Mandana Karimi has recently updated her married life status by denying all the reports of her filing for a divorce after facing domestic violence in her six month old espousal. Mandana Karimi, who got married this year in March to her long time businessman boyfriend Gaurav Gupta started facing issues with her in laws and husband and filed for a case of domestic violence against them this month in July. Upon that rumors of her parting ways from her husband and ending her six months old marriage started surfacing on the internet. But Mandana Karimi has apparently rubbished all the rumors recently and cleared the air by saying that she loves her husband very much.
Mandana Karimi’s Troubled Married Life
Mandana Karimi got enganged to her long time boyfriend named Gaurav Gupta in July 2016 and got married to him according to the traditional Hindu rituals in Mach 2017. It was not even six months into the marriage that Mandana started having trouble with her in laws and husband. The model cum actress stated that she was agonized by her husband and mother-in-law because of her job and different cultural background. She was constantly forced to change her religion to Hinduism and was forcefully made to leave her job in the film industry and modelling.
Despite of obliging with all her in-laws demands Mandana Karimi’s married life did not see the silver lining and she was left with no choice but to file a domestic violence case against her husband and his family this month. It was also speculated that the model turned actress also asked for a divorce from her husband along with Rs 2 crore as compensation and Rs 10 lac as alimony.
Not Calling It Quit
After all that what she went through in her pretty new married life Mandana Karimi is still trying to reconcile her relationships with her husband’s family. She has clearly told the reporters that she loves her husband and his family very much and the nothing can change that. Mandana Karimi faced friction with her in laws more so because of her different ethnicity and religion. As the model cum actress hails from Iran and is a Muslim and came to India 2 years ago to make herself a career in modelling.
Mandana Karimi has acted in Bollywood films like Kya Kool Hain Hum 3, Roy and Main aur Charles and has even done TV commercials along with famous Bollywood stars like Kareena Kapoor, Shahrukh Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Shahid Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor. But she tasted real fame only when she came as a contestant in Bigg Boss 9 and lasted in it as one of the top three contestants.
