Nokia 2 came into rumors after it made to the US FCC Site in September. Nokia 2 has now appeared on the Bluetooth Certification Site. HMD Global made an announcement that it is launching Nokia 2 as an extension of the series of mobiles it has launched under the affordable offering. Until before the Nokia 2 surfaced on the Bluetooth SIG site, it was a mere rumor. Among other rumors, this new model by HMD global is quite likely going to debut in India around 31st October 2017.
Nokia 2 Surfaced on Bluetooth SIG Site
Nokia 2 has currently surfaced on Bluetooth SIG Site. Although the model has surfaced on the Bluetooth SIG Site there has been no declaration of the features of the phone. On this site, all it has mentioned is that it is going to be available in 5 different variants that are going to be distributed globally.
Also, in the posts, there has been mention of the model getting 4G support and Bluetooth Connectivity. The Bluetooth certification for the Nokia 2 model was issued to HMD Global on 26th October.
Features of Nokia 2
Although HMD has been real quite regarding the release of the feature sheet of Nokia 2 still it has been heard that the model is going to be designed with the 5-inch HD display with the resolution of 720×1280 Pixels. The device is going to be working on 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 processor with 1 GB RAM.The Android version that could be expected in this model is Android 7.1 Nougat.
Besides all these rumors the official statement regarding the launch of the Nokia 2 or even regarding its presence can still not be confirmed. The mobile Nokia 2 is going to be available in two color variants including black and white. In an event organized by HMD Global in Gurugram on 31st October, it is expected that Nokia 2 might be mentioned. Nokia 2 is going to be launched as an addition to be budget series by HMD Global.
We could hope that the model will soon be available in the market. Rumors also have it that the model will be available for Rs. 6500 [$99] in Black and White color variants globally.
