HMD Global launched the Nokia 6.1 Plus smartphone in India today at an event held at New Delhi. This smartphone is the new age smartphone of Nokia from the HMD Global. The biggest highlight of the phone is its iPhone X like top notch. Secondly, the phone is an Android One Smartphone. The phone was first launched last month in Hong Kong. This is the global variant of the Nokia X6 which was launched in China in May 2018. Here are the details, specifications, and pricing of the phone.
Nokia 6.1 Plus Price in India and Availablity
The price of Nokia 6.1 Plus in India is set at Rs.15,999. The company has launched a single variant of the phone with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. The phone will be available to purchase via Flipkart and Nokia online store from 30th August. As of now, the pre-orders for the phone has started.
At this price tag, Nokia 6.1 Plus will compete against the newly launched Xiaomi Mi A2 smartphone. The starting price of Mi A2 is Rs.16,999. Secondly, it will also compete with the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro which was launched in India this year.
Specifications of Nokia 6.1 Plus
Display, Processor & Operating System: The new Nokia 6.1 Plus smartphone comes with a display of 5.8-inches. The display of the phone is full HD+ display and it is protected with a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The resolution of the screen is 1080×2280 pixels. The phone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 SoC. The phone runs on Stock Android 8.1 Oreo operating system.
RAM & Storage: The phone comes with a 4GB RAM which is exactly the same which was in the Nokia 6.1. The internal storage of the phone is 64GB. However, users can expand the internal storage of the phone via microSD card up to 400GB.
Camera Specifications: The phone comes with a dual rear camera at the back with one 16MP primary sensor f/2.0 aperture and second 5MP secondary monochrome sensor with f/2.4 aperture, the rear camera of the phone comes with dual tone LED flash. For selfies and video calling, there is a 16MP camera on the front.
Battery & Other Features: The phone gets its power from a 3060mAH battery and it comes with fast charging technology. The phone is a dual sim phone and accepts Nano sim cards.
