Nokia 6 (2018) Expected to Launch in India on April 4 | Check All Details

HMD Global has started sending out media invites for the launch event of its new phone in India. The event is scheduled to be held in New Delhi on April 4. The launch event invite doesn’t reveal the details of the phone which the company is going to launch in India. But it is expected that the new phone will be Nokia 6 (2018).

Nokia 6 (2018) was unveiled at Mobile World Congress 2018 along with Nokia 8, Nokia 7 and Nokia 8110 4G. HMD GLobal also announced the Nokia 1 Android Go Smartphone at MWC and the same was launched in India a few days back. Nokia 1 is the first Android Oreo Go Edition smartphone of the company.

Specifications of Nokia 6

The phone was unveiled at MWC 2018 in Barcelona after Nokia 1. Nokia 6 (2018) is a successor of the Nokia 6 smartphone which was launched last year. Nokia 6 features Google Android One OS. HMD Global launched the Nokia 6 (2018) smartphone in Single Sim and Dual Sim variants. It is expected that the company will launch the dual sim variant in India.

Th smartphone comes with a display of 5.5-inches. The display of the phone is full HD IPS display and the resolution of the display is 1080×1920 pixels. The phone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processor. It runs on Android Oreo Operating system.

The phone comes with 3GB and 4GB RAM and the internal storage of the phone is 32GB and 64GB. Users can expand the internal storage via microSD card up to 128GB. Connectivity options on the phone include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS, USB Type-C port. The battery of the phone is 3000mAh. The phone also has a fingerprint sensor on the back panel.

Coming to the camera specifications of the phone, Nokia 6 (2018) has a 16-megapixel camera at the back for clicking pictures and capturing videos. The rear camera comes with Carl Zeiss optics and f/2.0 aperture and LED flash. For selfies and Video calling the phone has an 8-megapixel camera on the front and it comes with f/2.0 aperture. The camera of the phone comes with Bothie feature with which the rear camera and the front camera can be used simultaneously at the same time.
