The prices of Nokia 8 and Nokia 5 smartphone in India gets a cut. The two phones have received a price cut in India. Nokia 5 smartphone has received a price cut of Rs.1000 while the flagship phone Nokia 8 has received a price cut of massive Rs.6000. This is a great move by the HMD Global before the starting of Mobile World Congress 2018 (MWC). The company will definitely launch new smartphones in the MWC 2018. And recently, the 4G variant of Nokia 3310 has been launched.

Nokia 5 with 3GB RAM variant which was launched in India last year in November has received a price cut of Rs.1000. The latest price of Nokia 5 smartphone is now Rs.12,499. Earlier the price of Nokia 5 smartphone was Rs,13,499. To recall Nokia 5 with 3GB RAM variant is an upgradable model of Nokia 5 with 2GB RAM. The second phone of Nokia that received a price cut is Nokia 8. Nokia 8 is a flagship phone of Nokia and it comes with 4GB RAM has received a huge price cut of Rs.6000. The latest price of Nokia 8 smartphone is now Rs.28,999 and the earlier price of the phone was Rs.36,999. The phone was launched in October 2017.

Coming to the specifications of Nokia 5, the smartphone is a dual sim phone and it comes with a 5.2-inch display with a resolution of 720×1280 pixels. The phone display is protected with 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass protection. The phone runs on Android Nougat Operating Systema and it is upgradable to Android Oreo OS. The phone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 SoC. The phone has 3GB RAM with an internal storage of 16GB and the storage is expandable up to 128GB.
