How NTA is good for students
NTA is an autonomous body that is self-sustained for conducting any such examinations like National Eligibility- cum- Entrance Test (NEET), Joint Entrance Examination (JEE ) Main, University Grants Commission (UGC) National EligibilityTest (NET) and others. The reason behind constituting NTA was to reduce the burden of CBSE and AICTE from conducting entrance examination and letting them focus entirely on their core functions more efficiently.
Lately, NTA has announced to conduct JEE and NEET online examination twice in a year from 2018, with an intent of lowering down the challenges and pressure on the candidates appearing for it. This centralized examination system enables students to take up an examination that is set on the standardized format across India for all at the same time. No other testing system on various state levels will be involved and this will help over 40 lakh candidates across India who appear for any of these above-mentioned entrance examination every year.
