National Testing Agency (NTA) has been all set to conduct Combined Graduation Level (CGL) exam 2018 instead of Staff Selection Commission (SSC). Till 2017, Staff Selection Commission use to hold the CGL exam for the Graduates. As per reports, SSC CGL exam 2018 will now be conducted by newly formed National Testing Agency.
NTA has been holding JEE Main, NEET, UGC NET exams for the year 2019. Although from now onwards, SSC has been exempted from CGL exam 2018 and it will now be held by NTA. Check out more details regarding the SSC CGL 2018 exam to be conducted by NTA soon below.
NTA to Hold SSC CGL Exam 2018 Instead of Staff Selection Commission
Recently reported that SSC CGL 2017 paper has been leaked and now Government has handed over the charge to NTA for the same. As per news, it has been reported that now NTA will hold the CGL exam 2018 on behalf of SSC. NTA will now be the SSC CGL exam on a new platform for the year 2018 issued by the third party. After receiving the tenders for the same, Government has passed the conducting body charge to NTA for Combined Graduation Level exam 2018.
Although as of now it has not been clear that whether the SSC CGL exam will be conducted in 2019 and will be a re-appearing exam for 2017 aspirants or not. Even the official date for the SSC CGL 2018 exam has not been out yet. Soon, NTA will release the official exam date for Combined Graduation Level Exam 2018.

The main reason to change the conducting body for Combined Graduate Level exam has been the paper leak. In the last September only, Supreme court asked the Govt to give away the responsibility to NTA or CBSE for the CGL. Afterwards, the Government decided to make NTA the conducting body for CGL.
Although as of now National Testing Agency will conduct JEE main exam on 8th January 2019. Whereas on 28 January 2019, NTA will hold GMAT and CPAT exams. After the same, NTA may release the exam date for SSC CGL exam to be held this year.
