First, the Good News and the Good news is that OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T will soon get an Android O/ Android 8.0 update. And the bad news is that this update will be the last update and there will be no more updates in future for OnePlus 3 and 3T. This Android O update will be the last Android Version update for OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T. This is announced by OnePlus Product head Oliver Z in a forum.
OnePlus 3/3T Android O Update
Android O will be the last Android version update for OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T clients. OnePlus Product head Oliver Z guaranteed security patches in near future, however, confirmed the finish of Android version for the two cell phones. He said that We’ll keep on releasing security fix updates in future for these phones, and offer support for singular application updates. After the OnePlus 3/OnePlus 3T have been refreshed to Android O, we’ll begin moving the Open Beta Program from OnePlus 3/OnePlus 3T to OnePlus 5.
OnePlus 3 Specifications
OnePlus 3 phone was launched in June Last year. The phone comes with the 5.50-inch display. the phone is powered by a 1.6GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor. The phone comes with 6GB of RAM and there is 64GB internal storage available in OnePlus 3. The internal storage can be expanded by means of microSD card. The phone has a 16-megapixel camera at back and 16-megapixel camera at the front too. The battery of OnePlus 3T is 3400mAh and the phone runs on Android 6.0 but OnePlsu 3T will also get an Android O update soon. Connectivity options of the phone include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, NFC, USB OTG, 3G, and 4G.
