The successor to the Oneplus 5, the Oneplus 5T will finally be launched on the 16th of November in an event in Brooklyn, New York. The sale of the Oneplus 5T will begin in India on the 21st of November. The phone will also go on sale in the United States and Europe on the same date as India.
Features of the soon to be launched Oneplus 5T:
The T in Oneplus 5T initially suggested a minor specification jump from the Oneplus 5 with probably a new colour option but the recent leaks and details point to a completely different direction. The Oneplus 5T will be a major upgrade to the immensely successful Oneplus 5 in India. The Oneplus 5T will feature a bezel-less design that will be much in line with the recent flagships from Samsung, Xiaomi and Apple.
The phone will come with a whopping 6 inch quad HD screen with 18:9 ratio. The processor will be the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 unit mated to Adreno 540 GPU. The camera department may see a spec jump too but nothing is certain about it. The storage options will stand at 6GB/64GB and 8GB/128GB variants as the Oneplus 5 in India.
Price and availability of the Oneplus 5T:
The Oneplus 5T will be unveiled at an event in Brooklyn, New York and the same event will be live streamed at selected PVR cinema halls in India. The tickets for the live stream PVR event can be had at BookMyShow. The sales of the Oneplus 5T will start from 21st November and it will be an Amazon India exclusive at the time of launch.
The CEO of the company Pete Lau has indirectly revealed the price of the Oneplus 5T to be around 39,000 Indian Rupees. However, we do not know as of now which variant was the Oneplus CEO talking about. The current Oneplus 5 sells at a starting price of 32,999 INR in India for the 6GB and 64GB variant. If the Oneplus 5T is introduced at a starting price of 39,000 Rupees it will be a major price jump for a company that promised to offer flagship specifications on a budget.
