Oneplus 5T vs. Samsung C9 Pro | Affordable Flagship Against Premium Mid-ranger

Oneplus 5T has been in the Indian market for almost twenty days and the initial response is nothing short than overwhelming. The phone is priced at 32,999 Rupees in India and offers flagship specifications at the price of a mid-ranger. The price that it comes at pitches it exactly against the likes of Nokia 8 and the Samsung Galaxy C9. While we already told you what we feel about the Nokia 8 let us discuss what smart phone makes better sense at a budget of 35000 Rupees – the Oneplus 5T or the Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro.

Oneplus 5T vs. Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro: Looks

The Oneplus 5T was launched just 20 days ago and boasts of the smaller bezels that we have come to expect from a smart phone in 2017. The Phone is brushed in metal from all sides and the antenna lines are nicely covered. While the Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro is not a bad looking device by any means but at 163mm it feels too large with the additional top and bottom chins. The Oneplus 5T comes with a 6.1-inch screen but with a smaller footprint of 156mm.

Oneplus 5T vs. Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro: Specifications

The Oneplus 5T comes with a top end Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor coupled to 6GB or 8GB of RAM depending on the variant. The Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro on the other hand comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 processor with a 6GB of RAM which honestly does not even compare to the performance of the Oneplus 5T. The new Oneplus device also comes with dual 16MP cameras that are electronically stabilized where as the Galaxy C9 Pro has a single 16MP lens. The secondary 16MP camera on the Oneplus 5T is electronically stabilized too while the C9 Pro’s secondary camera is a simple 16MP unit. Storage front, the C9 Pro has an advantage over the Oneplus 5T since it can house memory card without you having to sacrifice your secondary SIM card.
