OnePlus has launched the OnePlus 6 smartphone in India along with the OnePlus 6 Avengers edition. The smartphone is the successor of last year launched OnePlus 5T. The smartphone is launched in three variants and one Marvel Avengers Limited edition. The phone will directly compete with the Samsung Galaxy S9 smartphone which was launched in the month of March in India. The first thing that usually matters the most is the price. The price of OnePlus 6 smartphone in India starts from Rs.34,999. And it goes up to Rs.44,999 for thee special Avenger Edition. As far as the price is concerned it varies from model to model. The 6GB RAM with 64GB storage variant of OnePlus 6 is priced at Rs.34,999 and the 8GB RAM variant with 128GB storage is priced at Rs,39,999.

Sadly there is no confirmation about the launch of the 8GB RAM with 256GB variant in India. It may or may not be launched in India. The company has launched the special Marvels Avengers Edition at a price of Rs.44,999. If we see the prices of Samsung Galaxy S9 smartphone, the 4GB RAM variant with the 64GB storage is priced at Rs.54,990 and the price of the 6GB RAM with 128GB storage variant is Rs.72,999. These prices are approximately double.

The top-notch or the iPhone X like notch is also the biggest highlight of the phone OnePlus 6 and it is not present in the Samsung Galaxy S9 smartphone. The OnePlus 6 smartphone has a 6.28-inches display with an aspect ratio of 19:9 and screen resolution of 1080×2280 pixels. While the Galaxy S9 smartphone comes with a  5.8-inch QHD+ Curved Super AMOLED 18.5:9 display.

The Galaxy S9 has an 83.6% screen to body ratio while the OnePlus 6 comes with 83.8% screen to body ratio. One thing that is best about the Galaxy S9 after the QHD display is the expandable storage. The internal storage of the phone is expandable via MicroSD card while in the case of OnePlus 6 smartphone users can’t expand the storage of the phone.

Moving to the optics, OnePlus 6 smartphone has a dual camera setup at back with one 16 MP Sony IMX519 primary sensor and a 20MP Sony IM376K secondary sensor. The rear camera comes with a dual LED flash. For the selfies and video calling there is a 20MP front camera with Sony IMX371 sensor. The phone also has a face unlock feature.
