OPSC Recruitment 2018 – Starting Date
As per the official notification released by the Odisha Public Service Commission, the process of filling and submitting the application form for the post of Assistant Section Officer will begin from 10th October 2018. The last date to fill the application form is 9th November 2018. As there are many days left for the starting of the application process, candidates are advised to read the official notification till then.
OPSC Recruitment 2018 – Important Details
There are total 500 vacancies in OPSC for the post of Assistant Section Officer. Out of these 500 vacancies in OPSC, 266 vacancies are for the general category candidates, 87 vacancies are for the SEBC category, 75 vacancies are for the SC category and 72 vacancies are for the ST category.
The application fee for the OPSC Recruitment 2018 is Rs 300. This application fee is for the candidates of General Category and OBC Category. The candidates belonging to the other categories are exempted from the application fee, This application fee is non-refundable and non-adjustable.
The selection of the candidates or the applicants will be based on Written Examination and Skill Test. The written examination will be an objective MCQ. the candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of the written examination and will be called for the Skill test. The Skill test will be conducted in Computer. Candidates will have to secure at least 40% of the total marks in the Skill test to qualify it.
The minimum education qualification required to appear in the examination of the OPSC Recruitment 2018 is the Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
