Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Bollywood movie Padmaavat has entered the 100 crore club in Box office collection on the very first weekend. The much controversial historical magnum movie Padmaavat starring Deepika Padukone, Shahid Kapoor & Ranveer Singh from Day 1 to till date has been doing amazing in the box office. Not only in India, but Sanjay Leela Bhansali directed Padmaavat has collected huge amount from overseas as well.
Although the movie has been unable to break the record of Baahubali 2 yet but for sure the same has gathered amazing reviews from the fans. In just for days of its release, Padmaavat has touched the bar of 100 crores in the box office collection.
Padmaavat First Day Box Office Collection| Deepika Padukone & Ranveer Singh Impressed Audience
On the very first day of its release, Deepika Padukone’s Padmaavat has collected the whopping of Rs. 20 crores at the box office. And in the preview shows, Padmaavat movie has gained the amount of Rs. 5 crores at the box office. Despite not being released in 3 big states in India- UP, Rajasthan and MP, Padmaavat movie directed by Sanjay Leela Bhasali have collected the amount as same as its budget.
Released in approx 3500 screens in India, Padmaavat’s box office collection has been unbelievable as it competes with Baahubali 2 which was released on 8000 screens. But Sanjay Leela Bhasali’s Padmaavat has collected double the amount of Bajirao Mastani’s 1st-weekend collection. As Bajirao mastani in 2015 collected Rs. 54 crores in 4 days.

Till date, Padmaavat has collected Rs. 130 crores from the box office in India. Whereas the Worldwide box office collection of Deepika Padukone, Shahid Kapoor & Ranveer Singh starrer has reached upto Rs. 222 crore. Although the makers have sold the digital rights of Padmaavat in Rs. 25 crores and satellite rights were sold in Rs. 75 crores. Whereas the rights for the overseas release were sold in the amount of Rs. 50 crores. Likewise, before the release, only Padmaavat has collected the whopping amount of Rs. 206 crores.
Despite such big controversies, the dream project Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmaavat got released & surely impressed the audience with the execution. And the same can be measured by till date box office collection of Bollywood movie Padmaavat.
