Highlights of the decision:
If the decision will be implemented in the area then you have to park your vehicle across the road near ISBT 17 and come to the place by walking using a table top crossing.
- Parking place for Sector 22 will be allotted across ISBT 17 in Chandigarh.
- It will also facilitate table top crossing in Chandigarh.
- The current parking lot will be developed as green belt.
Municipal Corporation has suggested an underground multilevel parking area in Sector 22 instead of closing the current one. According to MC, single subway to Commercial Centre Sector 22 cannot hold the rush of both the parking areas in Chandigarh.
