Pass Percentage Declines for Class 10th & 12th in Chandigarh Govt. Schools | Check Details Here

With all the Boards declaring the Board Results 2018 of Class 10 and Class 12 one after the other, the Chandigarh Administration education department is still working on compiling the Class X Exam results. The Government schools in Chandigarh have been constantly witnessing a low pass percentage since the students fail to perform well in the annual examination.

As of now, there are as many as 89 government schools for which the UT government is compiling the Class X Board Results for. As for the Class X Result 2018, the inside sources have revealed that in 2018 as well, the pass rate of the students has dropped down to a rather alarming rate.

41 Schools Result Compiled By Now | Check Pass Percentage

As stated, there are as many as 89 Government schools located in Chandigarh. The result of Class X of the Government schools is yet awaited. As per the circulated reports, out of the 89 government schools, only the results of 41 schools has been compiled fully. The figures which have come into picture after considering the result of the 41 schools, it has been witnessed that the pass percentage crossed the mark of 50 percent.

Whereas noticing a confusion in the stated figures, the results were sent back and re-compiled. After re-compilation, the real figures were out which were prepared considering most of the government schools. The real figures state that the actual pass percentage of the students did not even cross the mark of fifty percent. The result of the 41 schools which was prepared, out of those, the figures of only 18 schools showed that the students managed to get a pass percentage of 70 and the stats of only three schools show a pass percentage of 90 percent.

Remedial Classes For Compartmental Students

The pass percentage of students is not even 50 per cent which surely is a matter of great concern. The departmental officials are likely to issue the notices to all those school principals whose school pass percentage is unable to cross the mark of 50 per cent.

Also, in order to improvise the performance of the students and help them attain a better score, the idea of remedial classes to be conducted during the summer vacations has been proposed which will be conducted for the compartment students. All the schools have been circulated with an official email regarding the same.
