Baba Ramdev’s Plan

After locking horns with the highly reputed brands like Unilever and Nestle the founder of Patanjali Ayurveda Ltd. Baba Ramdev in order to make Indians habitual of eating healthy food is now finding his way to get into the restaurant business.

Baba Ramdev has already set an empire of Rs 50 million by selling its packaged goods across globe. The yoga guru has a strong ready made client base that can support him in every upcoming venture.

Baba Ramdev with its Patanjali brand has loosen the grip of many multinational companies in India and he wants India to be free of international companies and its goods.

Baba Ramdev is all positive on his new plan of starting a restaurant business and hopes of achieving the same amount of success for it as the Patanjali Ayurveda has.

The Patanjali’s Success

Baba Ramdev’s Patanjali Ayurveda offers almost 500 packaged products in the food, beauty, nutrition and personal care line. With a total turnover of Rs 10,500 crore in 2016-17.

Patanjali being only 10 years old already has a share of 1.2% in Beauty and Personal care market of India.

Experienced guys are not very confident on his plan as they believe that even the old fast food brands like Domino’s Pizza Inc. are facing trouble in India and Patanjali can only create buzz initially but it is not sure whether it will last long in the food chain business or not.

Whatever the experts believe or say Baba Ramdev is headstrong on his goals for the future. His future plans involve launching an apparel business and a school for children of martyred Indian soldiers.
