Prices Of The Bajaj Dominar Marginally Hiked In India

We strongly believe that the price hike might not affect the buyer of the Bajaj Dominar

Bajaj Dominar is one of the best bikes in the 250-500cc segment right now which is ironically ‘dominated’ by the Royal Enfield motorcycles. However, it still remains to be one pretty good choice if you aren’t a fan of the traditional thump that the Royal Enfield cruisers have on offer. Well if you were planning to get one in the future then you might have to pay a little more for your Bajaj Dominar motorcycle.

Well the latest piece of news is that Bajaj has hiked the prices of its flagship motorcycle Dominar by a little premium of 2,000 Rupees.

The Price Hike Won’t Affect A Bajaj Dominar Buyer

While there is a marginal hike of Rupees 2,000 in the prices of the Bajaj Dominar, it honestly will not make any difference to the buyer of this segment. Prices of the flagship motorcycle by home grown bike maker started at 1.42 Lakhs for the Non-ABS variant while the ABS variant set you back by 1.56 Lakhs. The new prices of the Bajaj Dominar stand at 1.44 Lakhs and 1.58 Lakhs for the Non ABS and ABS variants respectively.

Another reason that we believe the Bajaj Dominar price hike would not affect the sales is that it already offers a high value for money quotient for the buyer of this segment. The price difference between Bajaj and the KTM Duke 390 along with Royal Enfield Himalayan is pretty significant. These are the only two bikes along with the Mahindra Mojo that happen to be the direct rivals to the Bajaj Dominar.

Bajaj Manages To Sell Around 1,000 Dominar Bikes Every Month

While Bajaj Dominar might possess features that might kick the competition out of the way easily, the Indian bike manufacturer manages to sell only 1,000 bikes every month. This is the flagship motorcycle by the company and at a price it comes in, we were expecting to sell in large volumes. However, keeping the current predicament in mind, Bajaj Dominar will now be launched in two new avatars including a Scrambler and a Classic. This will help to appeal to a wider set of buyers which will further translate to better sales.
