Punjab government promised people during the campaigning that they will be working towards the development of the state and the government has stuck to their words. Captain Amarinder Singh has come up with policies for the online transfer of government teachers and he has also asked the officials to plan a proper infrastructure in the government schools.
Captain Amarinder Singh, the chief minister of Punjab has approved a policy for the online transfer of government teachers. The policy will be implemented from next academic session. The same policy exists in the neighbouring states too including Haryana.
Online Policy Of Transfer Government Teachers By Punjab Government
An official of the Punjab government said that Captain Amarinder Singh, the Chief minister of Punjab decided at an education department review meeting that they will be facilitating the transfer of government school teachers, making the whole process transparent.
Captain Amarinder Singh has also asked the chief secretary of the school education to discuss the new transfer policy. The new policy will be categorising the schools into five zones.
Posting Of Teachers And Plans For A Proper Infrastructure
Captain Amarinder Singh has suggested that the teachers in primary schools will be posted in their villages or nearby places which will help them do their duties will full dedication and honesty. A proper budget for the infrastructure in government schools will be made.
The improvement in infrastructure will include proper electricity, well-maintained washrooms, furniture and also the playgrounds in the government schools.
Wi-Fi Facilities And Optional Foreign Languages Subject In Schools
Apart from the infrastructure, the Punjab CM has also asked the officials to provide wi-fi facilities in the schools. The Punjab government did promise that they will be working on the development of government schools when they come into power, they are sticking to their words. The best part is that Captain Amarinder Singh has also decided to come up with foreign languages as an optional subject for the students in school. The optional subject would be from Class 10 and will help the school students compete globally. Foreign languages like French, German, Chinese, Japanese will be an optional subject which will help the students in future in getting employment not only in India but also in different parts of the world.
Captain Amarinder Singh has made sure that the government schools in Punjab should get proper facilities and the students should also get a taste of languages spoken in different parts of the globe.
