Railway Recruitment 2018 in Western Railway – Important Dates
As per the official notification released by the RRC (Railway Recruitment Cell), the application form filling process has started online on 10th December 2018. The link to fill the application form and apply for the same is open now and candidates can now fill the form. The last date to apply online for the RRB Recruitment 2018 is 9th January 2019. The candidates are therefore advised to fill the application form on or before 9th April.
Western Railway Recruitment 2018 – Vacancies and Other Details
The application fee is Rs 100 for the application form. The candidates of General category and OBC category will only have to pay the fee while the SC/ST category candidates are exempted from paying the application fee. The candidates can pay the application fee via Debit Card, Credit card and Net banking. The fee can also be paid via E-Challan.
According to the official notification, the minimum age limit to apply online for the Apprentice post is 15 years and the maximum age limit to apply for the same is 24 years. The upper age limit for the SC/ST category candidates is 29 years while for the OBC category candidates, the upper age limit is 27 years. The candidates are advised to read the official notification before applying online.
As per the official notification, there are total 3253 vacancies in Western Railway. All these vacasncies are for the post of Apprentices in the various divisions. The candidates must have completed the 10th class examination along with the ITI certification in the relevant trade to apply for the post of Apprentice.
