The speculations about the Rajnikanth & Akshay Kumar Robot 2.0 movie release date being postponed in India is rife. The most awaited movie, Robot 2.0 featuring Rajnikanth and Akshay Kumar is now expected to release on April 27, 2018. The release date of the movie Robot 2.0 which was scheduled for January 275, 2018 is now postponed to April month. Robot 2.0 which is the sequel to the 2010 blockbuster Tamil movie ‘Enthiran.’
The movie Robot 2.0 is said to be India’ most expensive movies in terms of the salaries paid to the actors, VFX and special effects used to make the 3D audio and video. Rajnikanth & Akshay Kumar starrer, Robot 2.0 is said to be first sci-fi movie that is made in India and only by Indians. No foreign equipment or artists from the foreign land are involved in the making of Robot 2.0. It is also considered that Robot 2.0 movie will break all the records of Baahubali and Baahubali 2 with 12 different looks of Akshay Kumar and the reprised role of Dr. Vaseegaran and his robot Chitti featured in 2010 blockbuster movie ‘Enthiran.’

Talking about the star cast of the movie Robot 2.0, the Thalaiva of the south Indian cinema, Rajnikanth and Bollywood’s Khiladi No. #1, Akshay Kumar are in the lead roles. The second edition of the superhit film Robot does not have Aishwarya Rai as an actress but Robot 2.0 feature Amy Jackson in the movie. Apart from them, actors like Sudhanshu Pandey, Adil Hussain, Riyaz Khan and Kalabhavan Shajohn are also there in the movie Robot 2.o. The film is directed and written by S. Shankar while the music of Robot 2.o is given by the Oscar winner, the A. R Rehman.
Earlier, the Robot 2.0 movie was scheduled to release on Diwali 2017, then it shifted to January 25, 2018 but as per the tweet posted by the film trade analyst and film critic, Taran Adarsh, it seems that the date has been further postponed to the April month. His post mentioned that 2PointO will repeat the history on April 27, 2018 as Baahubali 2 did on April 28, 2017. The official announcement for the release date postponed of Robot 2.0 is yet to come.
