Pay Scale – Rajya Sabha Secretariat Recruitment 2017
Parliamentary Interperator will be paid Rs.15,600-39,100 + Grade pay. Assistant Legislative/ Committee/ Protocol/ Executive Officer, Stenographer, Security Assistant will be paid Rs.9300-20200 and remaining posts pay scale is Rs.5200-20,200.
Educational Qualification – Rajya Sabha Secretariat Recruitment 2017
For Parliamentary Interpreter – Master Degree in English with medium Hindi upto Graduation and Master Degree in Hindi with medium English upto Graduation.
Secretarial Assistant – Bachelor degree with 40wpm(Eng/Hindi/Urdu) typing on computer
Assistant Legislative/ Committee/ Protocol/ Executive Officer & Security Assistant – Bachelor Degree Stenographer- Bachelor degree with 80wpm short hand.
Translator – Master Degree in English with medium Hindi upto Graduation and Master Degree in Hindi with medium English upto Graduation.
Proof Reader – Bachelor Degree with Hindi or English
How to Apply and Application Fees
Interested candidates can apply for the posts of Rajya Sabha Online on the official website of Rajya Sabha.To register Online candidates will go to website www.rajyasabha.nic.in and then click on Apply Online. After that, A page will open. Now click on Register. Online application for all the posts has started from 25 July and the last date to apply for the Vacant posts is 18 August. For General Category and OBC there is an application fee of Rs.300. Remaining all categories including all women don’t have to pay any fees for the examination. Candidates can pay the examination fee online via Debit card/Credit Card/Net Banking from SBI.
Mode of Selection – Rajya Sabha Secretariat Recruitment 2017
Candidates will be short listed on the basis of the Preliminary exam, written main exam, skill test and Interview. There are different exam scheme for all different posts. For some of the posts, there is an Oration Test in English and Hindi of 100 marks.
