In a case related to objectionable remarks against sage Valmiki, controversial actor and Bigg Boss contestant Rakhi Sawant, has been granted bail from a court in Ludhiana. Associated with some of the most bizarre and weird incidents happened in India, Rakhi Sawant, here in this case too appeared before the court wearing a Burqa. No she has not changed her religion, well, the reason for wearing a burqa was that she did not want anyone to recognize her! We are so aware of her fan following, no?

Rakhi Sawant called sage Valmiki a ‘murderer and robber’. The remarks by Rakhi Sawant allegedly hurt the religious sentiments of the Valmiki community and a case of registered against her. After Rakhi Sawant failed to appear before the court in a case, arrest warrants were issued by the court following which a police team from Ludhiana arrested the actress from Mumbai. It is notable that after making the derogatory remarks against author of the mythological chronicle Ramayana— Sage Valmiki, Rakhi Sawant had rendered a video apology for her statement.
