Just after the final verdict on Ram Rahim in which he was announced as a culprit, situation in Panchkula has further worsened. Dera followers who gathered in Panchkula in lakhs are now being dispersed. Police are using tear gas bombs on the crowd so that no unwanted incident happens.
Apart from tear gas bombs, water from fire brigades is also being used. Police is making appeals to residents to stay inside.
Dera Followers & Why Such an Action
The situation in Panchkula has worsened. Dera followers have started to burn things and a riot like the situation has arisen. To control the mob, Haryana police in association with army is using tear gas bombs on the crowd.
2 railway stations in Punjab have also been set on fire. One of these is Malot.
Dera followers are also beating up media persons.
A media van is also said to be put on fire in Panchkula by Ram Rahim followers.
Police personnel are now firing in Panchkula.
