Ranbir Kapoor is all ready to match the look of Bollywood’s Munna Bhai, for his upcoming biopic on the life of the Indian actor Sanjay Dutt. His first look for the biopic is floating everywhere on social media and has left his fans stunned by his resemblance to Dutt.
Ranbir Kapoor who is known for his chocolaty features in the Hindi film industry has played various characters of a romantic hero, a coy and docile lover, a college lad, a tapori, an ambitious photojournalist and many others, is now ready to graduate as a serious actor, with an intense character to play in Bollywood.
Ranbir Kapoor’s first look for Sanjay Dutt’s biopic
With the full-grown mustache, a red tilak on his forehead, salt and pepper styled beard and a similar looking hairstyle, Ranbir is looking at his best to play the character with conviction. Not only this, Ranbir Kapoor has put on some extra kilos to look bulky and match the physique of Sanjay Dutt. He has even practiced walking like the actor Sanjay Dutt to fit in his shoes and live up to his different stages of life so far.
Why has Ranbir Kapoor gained weight
Off lately, it was seen in every biopic of Bollywood including, Dangal, MS Dhoni, Sarabjit, Bhaag Milka Bhaag, Mary Kom and also Sultan for that matter, the Indian actors are not at all inhibited of putting on or losing those extra calories and weight of their bodies to get into the skin of the character and look real on reel life.
Look on his leaked images from the sets of the movie and you will applaud for Ranbir Kapoor for all the efforts he has put in as an actor to imbibe the characteristics of Sanjay Dutt. Ranbir seems to have completely nailed the different looks of Sanjay Dutt, from his younger years when he had long hair to his bulkier body when he was sentenced in jail.
The shooting for the biopic on Sanjay Dutt has already been floored by Rajkumar Hirani and the movie is likely to hit the theatres by Christmas of 2017. Well, this is not all… Ranbir Kapoor’s three other distinct looks will be revealed with the release of the movie by the end of this year.
