Randeep Hooda’s new look of a Punjabi guy in ‘Battle of Saragarhi’ has been revealed. Randeep Hooda has always seen experimenting with his looks in all his movies. Recently, Randeep has come up with his new look for his upcoming movie ‘Battle of Saragarhi’, where he will be playing the role of a military commander of 36th Sikh’s regiment. This is now known as 4th Battalion of Sikh Regiment.
Randeep Hooda lives up to the characters he plays in his films and he works hard for the same, which we can see in his acting. Be it a sensual role like in Jism 2 or a serious character like in the movie Sarabjit, he was the best of all.

Battle of Saragarhi is a periodical drama that is based on the Battle that took 1897 between 21 Sikhs of British Indian Army and 10000 Afgan tribesmen in the North-West Frontier Provision.
To match up to the look of Havildar Ishar Singh in the film ‘Battle of Saragarhi’, Randeep has gone through a lot of homework and hardwork. And his new look for the same says it all.
- Randeep has read Sikh history under a guru for 1 month.
- He also learned vintage-riffle shooting and sword fighting for 45 days.
- Although he is a master of horse riding, then also to be a perfect one for the movie he is practising more for the same.
- The theme of the film is based on the saying of Guru Gobind Singh Ji ‘Soora so pehchaniye je lare deen ke het, purja purja kad mare kabhu na chade khet’.
The movie has been shot in parts of Chandigarh, Punjab and Abroad. The look of Randeep Hooda as Havildar Ishar Singh got revealed when he entered a book launch ceremony by CM of Punjab Capt. Amrinder Singh in a khaki cloth and a turban that resembles the brave hero of ‘Battle of Saragarhi’.
The first screening of the movie ‘Battle of Saragarhi’ will take place on Saragarhi Gurdwara in Amritsar on 12th September, on the same date when the battle began in the year 1897.
