Ranveer Singh Turns Rapper for New Movie Gully Boys

Bollywood’s Bajirao, Ranveer Singh has turned into a rapper. The actor Ranveer Singh has always been in the headlines for his crazy fashion sense and nailing acting skills. From epic drama to modern day romantic films, Ranveer has tried on his hands on all genres of movies till date. But to much of the surprise of all the Ranveer Singh’s fans, the actor has now turned into a rapper.

Yes, you read it right! Everyone knows that Ranveer Singh is currently shooting for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus, ‘Padmavati’ along with the actors Shahid Kapoor and Deepika Padukone. But it’s a buzz in the Tinseltown that the actor has planned to reunite with the ‘Dil Dhadakne Do’ filmmaker and friend, Zoya Akhtar and that is why Ranveer Singh had signed Akhtar’s next movie Gully Boy. The film is said to be inspired by the life of a rapper that Ranveer will be playing in the movie. He will be playing rapper Naezy aka Naved Shaikh from Kurla slum. Not only this the rumours are also rife that the actor has already recorded a song for the movie in which he is rapping like a pro.

From where did Ranveer get the inspiration for rapping

This is not the first time that Ranveer Singh will be seen crooning. Well, Ranveer Singh had already done rapping for a television commercial advertisement of innerwear before. The Ranveer fans had liked him singing rap and are going crazy totally to hear him rap again soon. This time the actor will have more rapping to his credits as he will be playing the character of the Delhi- based rapper who is struggling hard to sustain in the Indian musical industry.

The actor has starting practising rapping to get into the skin of the character he is playing.  He has even joined hands with some popular rappers of India including Slow Cheetah aka Mumbai’s Chaitanya Sharma, Delhi-based Abhay Prasad, Devil The Rhyme, Canada-based Nitin Mishra and Kaam Bhaari aka Kunal Pandagle.

Now, when the media has blown the trumpets for Ranveer Singh turning rapper, all the rappers in India must have felt threat on their profession and skill. The actor may win lot many hearts of its fans from all around the world that he may make the Yo Yo Honey Singh, Badshah or Raftaar run out of money after his film Gully Boy is released.

So, put your fingers crossed and wait for the actor- turned- rapper Ranveer Singh to showcase his skills with the release of the songs from next flick Gully Boy.
