RBI Recruitment 2018: Reserve Bank of India has started the online application process for the post of Officer Grade B. The bank has invited applications from all eligible candidates for the post of Officers Grade B. The candidates who want to apply for the post of Officers in Reserve Bank of India are advised to check the official notification and then apply online for the post. Here are the important details regarding RBI Recruitment 2018.
RBI Recruitment 2018 – Vacancies & Education Qualifications
As per the RBI Recruitment 2018 Official Notification, there are total 166 post vacancies in Reserve Bank of India for the post of Officers in Grade B. These vacancies in RBI are for the post of Officers in Grade B (DR) – General (127 posts), Officer in Grade B (DR) – DEPR (22 posts) and Officers in Grade B (DR) – DESM (17 posts). Selected candidates will get a pay scale of Rs.35,140 to 62,400 per month.
For the post of RRB Officers Grade B (DR) General, the minimum education qualification is Graduation with minimum 60% marks. For the post of Officers Grade B (DR) DEPR in Reserve Bank of India, the minimum education qualification is Master’s Degree in Economics/Mathematical Economics/ Integrated Economics with at least 55% marks.
And for the post of RRB Officers Grade B (DR) DSIM, the minimum education qualification is Master’s Degree in Statistics/Econometrics/ Statistics and Informatics from IIT Kharagpur or Applied Statistics from IIT Bombay.
RBI Recruitment 2018 – Important Details
The online application process to apply for the post of Grade B Officer in Reserve Bank of India started on 3rd July. The last date to fill application is 23rd July. Candidates are advised to fill the application form on or before the last date. The admit cards for the RBI Exam will be out in the month of August. The phase 1 exam will be held on 16th August and Phase 2 exam on 7thSeptemberr.
The application fee for the Reserve Bank of India Exam for General Category candidates and OBC Category candidates is Rs.850 and for the SC, ST & PH Category candidates, the application fee is Rs.100. Candidates can pay the application fee via credit card, debit card or by net banking. The minimum age limit to apply for the post is 21 years and the maximum age limit is 30 years. Candidates will be selected on the basis of the online exam and Interview.
