Reema Lagoo, one of the most popular Indian actresses who played supportive and motherly roles in Hindi as well as Marathi cinema died of cardiac arrest. Reema Lagoo passed away at around 3:30 am. She was taken to Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai when she complained of chest pain.
Reema Lagoo was a renowned personality in the Hindi and Marathi cinema industry and had also worked with top actors like Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan and Akshay Kumar. Reema Lagoo’s daughter Mrunmayee Lagoo is a stage and film actress, theatre director.
Reema Lagoo Dies of Cardiac Arrest
Reema Lagoo’s sudden demise has shocked everyone including her family members. Reema complained of a chest pain and was later admitted to Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai.
Vinay Waikul, Reema Lagoo’s son in law said that they took Reema to the hospital around 1:00 am when she complained of a chest pain and she passed away around 3:15 am due to a heart attack. Vinay said that Reema had no health problems and she was perfectly alright. A lot of politicians, people in the film industry tweeted for Reema Lagoo’s sudden demise.
Rishi Kapoor, Prem Granth, Heena, Amitabh Bachchan, Priyanka Chopra, Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal, Boman Irani and many more celebrities also paid their condolences on Twitter.

Reema Lagoo was born on February 3, 1958, in Nayan Bhadbhade, Mumbai. Reema studied at Huzurpaga HHCP high school in Pune and after completing her studies she started professional acting. Reema Lagoo got married to Vivek Lagoo but later they both separated.
