Reliance Jio Effect: Airtel 399 Plan Revised to Offer 84GB Data With Unlimited Calls

Airtel 399 Plan now directly competes with Jio 399 Plan, Both Plans offers Unlimited data & Calls

Bharti Airtel has made a new move to counter the plans of Jio. Airtel has now revised one its most popular plan i.e Airtel Prepaid plan 399. The recent revision in the 399 plan of Airtel now gives 84GB data instead of 70GB data that was offered earlier. The new change in the plan is listed in the app. In our case, we found the plan on My Airtel App but when we checked the website of Airtel, we don’t find any change. Here are the full details of Airtel 399 plan, Check it out.

Airtel 399 Plan with 84GB Data, Free SMS & Unlimited Calls

Now the Airtel 399 Plan offers 84GB 4G data. The daily limit of data usage in the Airtel 399 plan is 1GB which is similar to the last plan. The 399 plan of Airtel comes with the Airtel Prepaid Promise. The validity of the plan also increased to 84 days. Earlier in the 399 plan, Bharti Airtel was offering 70GB data with free calls for 70 days. Now the pack offers 14GB extra data with 14 days extra validity.

Users who will recharge with 399 will now get free unlimited calls. These unlimited calls include all local unlimited, all STD unlimited and all roaming unlimited calls. There are no extra charges for calls made in roaming. The pack also offers 100 Free SMS per day.

This move by Airtel is to compete with the Reliance Jio 399 plan that offers similar benefits including free calls and 84GB data with daily 1GB data usage limit. Now the Airtel 399 plan is mostly similar to Jio 399 plan. There is only one difference between the Airtel 399 plan and Jio 399 plan and that is the unlimited data usage after the daily allocated data limit. Jio in all of its plan offers unlimited data usage.

All of Jio Plans comes with daily data usage limit but if you cross the daily data usage limit then your data usage will not stop but only the speed of data lowers to low speed. In case of Airtel plans this is not there. Once you exhausted your daily data usage limit you will no longer be able to use the data. To use data further you will have to recharge your number with a smaller data pack,.
