India’s telecom giant Reliance Jio Infocomm Ltd has taken a leap ahead as it notifies to launch the longest submarine cable system i.e Asia-Africa-Europe (AAE-1). This is the state-of-art submarine telecom and internet cable system to be laid across oceanic stretches running through various countries and even continents for fastest data signal transmission.
Highlights of Reliance Jio submarine cable system
The AAE-1 is the longest submarine cable system of 100 Gbps (gigabits per second) launched by Reliance Jio Infocomm Ltd that will be spread over a network of 21 cable landings i.e 25,000 km including Marseille, France, Hong Kong and other Asian and European countries. Via this project, Reliance Jio will continue to offer the fastest speed digital experience to its customers with the new terabit capacity of internet and telecom services. The direct connectivity of 100Gbps to the interconnection points will ensure the high paced mobile phone network irrespective of any place and time of the day.
After the immense success of launching Reliance Jio 4G plan for the common Indians last year, the telecom players Reliance is now excited to launch the country’s first longest submarine cable system. Reliance also promises to deliver better and fastest 4G services in Mumbai when the data consumption and digital traffic in India are already higher and will accelerate in future.

The Asia-Africa-Europe (AAE-1) is projected to offer the required flexibility and diversity to the telecom company and to their subscribers as it has diversified Points of Presence (PoP) in Asia including Singapore and Hong Kong and three connectivity points in Europe including Italy, Greece and France. This submarine cable system for telecom and internet is a joint project of India’s Reliance Jio along with world class services providers from all across Asia, Europe, and the Middle East.
Well, Reliance has again given a reason to be happy to all its Jio users with the launch of longest submarine cable system AAE-1 that is projected to deliver better and faster 4G connectivity to one and all.
