4G-Enabled Phone By Reliance Jio Which Won’t Even Cost Rs. 2000

Reliance Jio is in contact with the Chinese manufacturers and soon might launch a 4G-enabled smartphone for just Rs. 1500. You gotta thank Mukesh Ambani for all the free services provided by Reliance Jio and now for planning to launch the cheapest 4G-enabled phone.

The Rs. 1500 4G-enabled phone by Reliance would most likely come with some pre-loaded applications. The 4G-enabled smart phone will allow VoLTE calling but there can be some internet usage restrictions for the users.

Reliance Jio Is Ruling The Market

Reliance Jio is definitely the ruler in the market after they provided free 4G services, affordable mobile plans and now the most cheapest 4G-enabled phone for Rs. 1500. Reliance Jio owns the LYF brand smart phones but they come in a slightly expensive smart phones category as compared to the upcoming Rs. 1500 4G-enabled phone.

One thing is for sure that after the launch of Jio’s Rs. 1500 4G-enabled phone the competition in the market will be really tight.

Chinese Manufacturer Is Working With Reliance Jio

Spreadtrum Communications, a Shangai-based company has already started working on the upcoming Rs. 1500 4G-enabled phone. They are also partners with Reliance Industries since past two years. The prices of 4G-enabled smartphones made by Indian companies like Lava and Micromax start from Rs. 3000 and it is expected that the prices will go down once Jio’s Rs. 1500 4G-enabled phone is launched.

The Indian market has moved to 4G from 3G in the last few months. This is when Reliance Jio, the leader in the Indian telecom market started giving free 4G data services to their users. Just after Reliance Jio other telecom players like Idea, Airtel, BSNL,Vodafone and Aircel have also introduced lucrative 4G plans to compete with Reliance Jio. The country head of Spreadtrum Communications said that the plan is to sell 4G-enabled smartphones in a more attractive way in rural locations.

It will be interesting to see how the mobile operators compete with Reliance Jio’s 4G-enabled phone.
