Reliance Jio to Open Second Round of Pre-Bookings for JioPhone Soon: Report

Here is some good news for all the Jio fans out there who regret being lazy enough to not being able to order their Reliance JioPhone. The wait for the pre-bookings to resume again is finally over, as Reliance Jio is going to start accepting the registrations for its 4G enabled device very soon.

The cheapest available 4G phone has seen more than 6 million bookings before the registrations were closed due to very heavy response. Although the specific number of registrations have not been disclosed by the Reliance company, it is claimed that in just a few days of August, the telecom operator had to display a “We will inform you when pre-booking resumes” message on the website www.jio.com in the JioPhone booking section.

JioPhone Phase 1 Deliveries Almost done

The delivery for the previously ordered Reliance JioPhone is expected to carry out very soon as some of the phones have already been released by the company’s end and are still working very efficiently to meet the demands and make the Reliance JioPhone available to all the people who ordered it by the end of November. Knowing that there are still a huge number of users who have not received their product, Jio still promises that the pre-bookings will resume very soon, though the exact dates for the same have not been released, according to a report by PTI.

The Reliance JioPhone comes on a fully refundable payment of Rs. 1500. One has to pay Rs. 500 to order their product and pay the rest when they get the delivery, The buyers can use the Reliance JioPhone for a period of 36 months after which they can return the used mobile phone and get a refund of the deposit made. The first 4G feature phone offers a lifetime free voice calling and discounted plans for data. With an unlimited data plan at Rs. 153, one can enjoy the 4G speed until they exhaust the limit of 500MB per month after which the user will experience internet surfing at 128Kbps speed on the Reliance JioPhone.

There are already various competitors in the price segment if we talk about the recently launched Ultra1 by Micromax and BSNL and the Karbonn & Airtel partnership feature 4G phone, Karbonn A40 which are all set to give a hit to the Reliance JioPhone sales.
