The second round of Reliance Jio’s 4G VoLTE feature phone sale is said to be open not to all but to a handful. This time Reliance Jio will be selling phones only to those who had shown interest in buying the mobile phone last time during its first round of sale but could not avail it due to the closing down of sale.
How to book your Reliance Jio phone
Reliance Jio has initiated the process of booking Jio phone again by sending messages to buyers who had expressed interest in purchasing the device in July, earlier this year. Those who have received the message of Reliance Jio second round of Jio phone booking and are still interested to buy it should either click on the link given in the message or call on the given number.
Once your request has been sent either via message or a call, you are supposed to make a payment of Rs 500 on the channel that is authorized to Reliance Industries Limited. On the completion of the payment process, you will receive a message on your mobile number by the company informing you about the date or by when you will receive the Reliance Jio 4G mobile phone with VoLTE feature.
Reliance Jio phone’s new refund scheme
The Reliance Jio phone was introduced in the world of Indian telecommunication market as one of the cheapest 4G phones that can be easily purchased by one and all. The price of the phone was also fixed to Rs 1500, which is refundable to the Reliance Jio phone buyers over the span of 36 months. But now with the second round of the sale starting soon, the company Reliance Industries has announced the new refund scheme for the users.
The company has set new conditions regarding the refund of Jio Phone, which includes the initial refund of Rs 500 to the Reliance Jio buyers if they return the handset in the first year of its purchase and have got done recharges of Rs 1500 in a year. Similarly, if the customer returns the Reliance Jio phone in the second year of its purchase then they will get the refund of Rs 1000 and Rs 1500 if returned in the third year of the purchase.
Last time over 10 million people had expressed interest in buying Reliance Jio 4G feature phone when booking started in July. Out of those only six million units of the Reliance Jio phone could get booked in three days. The company had promised to deliver the booked Reliance Jio phones to the buyers by August but the booking was in surplus that delayed the delivery of the end product. Finally, the Reliance Jio feature phones were started delivering from September.
