It has been reported that the dealers are offering an unbelievable discount of Rs. 1.25 lakh on the recently launched Renault Captur. Launched at an inaugural price of Rs. 9.99 Lakh in India the discount would aid the consumers in saving a stash of cash. The discounted amount of Rs 1.25 lakh will certainly pull up sales for the automaker on the lot. This discount is being offered by the dealers to clear up the last year stocks.
There were no such discounts last year on the newly launched Renault Captur but with the change in year, the sales started to decline due to the model of stock. To clear the stocks, the dealers are offering the hefty discount to its consumers to make it an attractive deal for them. Renault may soon offer an automatic variant
It has not been officially announced yet, but there are speculations that the automaker may add a CVT automatic gearbox to the Captur in future. It has been reported that initially, the automatic transmission will be offered in the petrol engined Captur. Currently, the Captur comes equipped with manual transmission option only and offers more features, style and space than its sibling – the Duster. The Captur comes loaded with premium cosmetic features and offers plush interiors that justify its positioning and higher price tag.
5-seater Captur takes on the segment leader Hyundai Creta in terms of positioning and price but also lock horns with Sub-Compact SUV segment leader Maruti Suzuki Brezza besides rivalling against Mahindra’s premium SUV offering- the XUV500.
